Pick a total Network Marketing income level that you would consider to be success for 2018. Write that number down…and then double it.
Many of you are playing too small. You haven’t given yourself permission to go to the level of your capability. So, double your number. And tell the world that you’re going to earn that number in 2018. Say yes, tell the world, and then figure it out. That’s what we do in Network Marketing. That’s how visionaries play.
There’s nothing stopping you from doing it but you. So, you need people in your life that will say that to your face and won’t back down when you push. You need people who will not let you hide from the world.

Today, I want to talk about the past. I know the past isn’t a topic that many people in Network Marketing want to talk about, but it has a huge impact on your future. Faulkner once wrote, “The past is not dead, nor is it past.” What he meant is that the past has a life. All of our histories have a life and contribute to our future. And as I have gotten older, I have realized how much our past affects our future.
Eric Worre sits down with Gloria Mayfield Banks and talks about the “it” factor. Gloria shares her view on what the defining characteristics are of the high achievers. What does it take for a person to excel in Network Marketing? Gloria shares that it’s not your personality. She’s seen all types of personalities at the top of the game. It’s about the raw desire of ambition.
Ambition comes to you in many different forms. She believes that it does take confidence or the desire to have confidence in order to be a high achiever. Gloria also says that in order to be successful in Network Marketing you have to have a love of people. She believes that the people who are at the top of their game really think about others and how they can help them. Eric shares that at the beginning the ambition is personal, but once you have that then there is a shift. The shift that happens becomes about contribution and the goals become about how many people can I help.
Do you know why there is such a big drop off rate in Network Marketing? It is because they were told that the profession was a piece of cake. They were told that they would hardly have to work, don’t have to sell anything, or the product sells itself.
