Today, I want to talk about the past. I know the past isn’t a topic that many people in Network Marketing want to talk about, but it has a huge impact on your future. Faulkner once wrote, “The past is not dead, nor is it past.” What he meant is that the past has a life. All of our histories have a life and contribute to our future. And as I have gotten older, I have realized how much our past affects our future.
Eric Worre sits down with Gloria Mayfield Banks and talks about the “it” factor. Gloria shares her view on what the defining characteristics are of the high achievers. What does it take for a person to excel in Network Marketing? Gloria shares that it’s not your personality. She’s seen all types of personalities at the top of the game. It’s about the raw desire of ambition.
Ambition comes to you in many different forms. She believes that it does take confidence or the desire to have confidence in order to be a high achiever. Gloria also says that in order to be successful in Network Marketing you have to have a love of people. She believes that the people who are at the top of their game really think about others and how they can help them. Eric shares that at the beginning the ambition is personal, but once you have that then there is a shift. The shift that happens becomes about contribution and the goals become about how many people can I help.
Do you know why there is such a big drop off rate in Network Marketing? It is because they were told that the profession was a piece of cake. They were told that they would hardly have to work, don’t have to sell anything, or the product sells itself. Then when they get started, they realize that there is a lot of work that goes into building a real business, and that’s not what they signed up for. Next thing you know, they’ve decided to leave...
Mel Robbins talks today about the ability to push yourself to do things, grow, recruit, and take action with your Network Marketing business. Her 5 Second Rule is a tool based in science that teaches you how to do just that. When you leave events, you are inspired, have a road map, excited, and empowered. But when you get back to your life, it’s up to you to take action. Do you know how to push yourself?
Today, I want to focus on the second fastest way to get better. But what is the number one fastest way to learn? It’s activity; you’re going to learn faster than anything by “doing.” What’s the second most powerful way to learn?
One of the most common objections that prospects like to throw up when you introduce them to Network Marketing is “I don’t have the time.” Don’t believe that, and here’s one reason why…
If you’re involved in Network Marketing, if you’re an entrepreneur, you can’t afford to mow your own lawn. Let me explain…
I have been mentored by a few different billionaires throughout my Network Marketing career. I sought out my first mentor and asked him how do I make more success for myself? I want to make a million dollars a year! My mentor said, “To make a million dollars a year you have to earn approximately $500 an hour in order to meet your goal. Is there a task you can do in your business that will earn you $500 an hour over time?” I said oh yes, in Network Marketing, there actually is.
Today, Jayne Leach talks about how network marketers can overcome one of their biggest fears – the word “no.”
Objections are the one thing that strikes fear into the hearts of most Network Marketers. How would you like to be excited when a prospect gives you an objection? How would you like to convert more prospects? How much better could you prospect if you knew what to say to every objections? What if you felt confident and not scared?

Today, I want to talk about one of the fundamental aspects of an entrepreneur—how to think like an entrepreneur. The longer you continue to think like an employee, the more you will be frustrated as you try to build your entrepreneurial business. It requires different thinking.
I wanted to share with you a quick message about procrastination. They say that people can teach what they struggle with the most. And that is certainly true with me.
Today, I’m giving you the Magic Question in Network Marketing. This is the one question that I’ve learned and used throughout my career that will create more results in growing your business than any other question.
People tell me all the time, “building a business is hard. Network marketing is hard. Motivating myself is hard.” Most people want to avoid “hard.” They want to avoid the things that are difficult, the things that are challenging them, and the things that are pushing them. They think that the hard part of their life is over, so now they want things to be easy.
